Colored salts and spices create gorgeous landscapesPhotographer Kelly McCollam recreated some famous Van Gogh pieces uses spices and chips, and painted gorgeous landscapes using salt and food coloring.McCollam started these recreations in college and has continued for about two years. She uses red, blue, green, and yellow food coloring as base paints to mix colors and a single Morton-sized salt container (which lasts five compositions) for her salt pieces.
